Hi all. Today I made a nice foil shelter. I spent the night in it. Despite the fact that it is winter outside, it was cozy and warm in the shelter thanks to the stove.

I will not forget to bring plastic and aluminum foil from my kitchen just in case. With these simple tools, this shelter isn’t so different from the far more expensive houses we build today. A heat-reflective surface (the foil), an air/wind barrier (the plastic), and an insulator (the snow), that’s all you need to stay relatively warm.I just imagine myself with him that’s so close to nature. In the chaotic times that we are living in right now I sure wouldn’t mind being in your shelter very relaxing looking thank you for sharing.Imagine coming across that structure in the woods, you would think Dexter is in there. As I watch this video the Chaos of today’s world has completely melted away. A sense of a post apocalyptic world bleeds through and the music feels like a warm pair of slippers that comfort my mind. Thank you.Wife calls at the beginning of the build – “how much longer will you be?” – he goes “I’m just wrapping up, dear…!”Seeing him wrapping his shelter with that plastic reminds me of my days at walmart and putting stock on pallets. It takes a lot of dedication to withhold the cold and the elements. Keep up the good work. Love what you do and do what you lovw.
