From a large cedar log, I turn a medium-sized cedar bowl. And it doesn’t break! Links to items and tools that I frequently use: Ack’s Abrasive Paste, and Polishing .great video and beautiful work, i just got my hands on some green cedar that i want to turn 🙂 I have a question for you, why did that catch at around 10 minutes happen? I have not yet turned a bowl and im trying to understand the different tools used and why they catch.beautiful piece, I like your work a lot. One safety comment though, at the beginning of the video when you had the wood mounted on the woodworm screw, I expected you to bring up the tail stock for a more secure mounting during the initial turning until it got in the way. To help keep the blank from launching itself.
